About
I’m Sharon Wilkinson, a wife, mom, and grandma (Lita). I am also a sister, daughter, friend and a self taught felting instructor/artist.
After working 33 years as an occupational therapist, I grew a small clothing business in Michigan for 10 years until COVID hit. I designed and sewed handmade clothes from previously loved clothing, mostly wool items-skirts, jackets, tops, hand warmers, and bags.
In July of 2021, a set of divine circumstances brought my husband and me to beautiful Temecula, CA. I quickly discovered people in Southern California don’t wear wool. What was I going to do? I HAD to create, but what? I still wanted to work with fiber, and then remembered a 6” tall angel I had made for my daughter in law’s bridal shower 7 years prior.
So, I bought wool, needles and a stabbing mat and set out on my new adventure in this delightful and forgiving art form called felting.
